Endless gratitude to Red Bull and Converse for trusting a group of young creatives on this project, and for opening doors that later led to creative consulting opportunities.

FM2MAG was our first real creative venture. As Instagram was gaining traction and street photography was starting to build a community online, Charles and I saw the opportunity to create something tangible around the momentum people were showing for our work.
It started spontaneously — we called a random photo meetup on a Friday night, inviting people to come shoot with us. Around 15 people showed up and that was the moment we realized it could become something bigger. FM2MAG became a platform for photography, community and culture.
Without intending to, we learned business and collaboration through the process. The project grew into partnerships with Red Bull, who supported our photography walks and every volume release. Over five releases, we sold 500+ magazines and hosted events that brought the community together in real life. Converse also became a partner and we even launched the One Star silhouette during one of our events — giving away close to 100 pairs.
It’s been years, but FM2MAG is still one of the projects I cherish most. We had no formal experience in design, business or production — just vision, energy and the desire to build something. That project opened doors, shaped my approach and helped create the network I carry with me today.
